Had to call ambulance today for Talianna... We are home and sh is doing much better.. Doc told us to feed her less milk and more often or stretch feedings longer. She has formula coming out her nose but alot an bubbling from mouth. Damn acid reflux.... it's friggin scary these episodes. Omg my neck is killing me think my nerves finally relaxed. So I give her 2 scoops of formula for 120ml but now I will be feeding her 2-3 ounces at each feed. Anyone else encounter this?

Omgsh poor baby 😟 my daughters God sister has this problem she's 11 weeks and her mom has to feed her more often and less as well her doctor also recommended that she feed her more in a sitting up position rather than laying down and to burp her half way through her feedings as well as after @starting_over39

@pnutbutta, definitely puts me in freak out mode 😵... @sashie The pediatrician on staff said exactly that. So since then I have been feeding her 2-3oz every 2-3 hours. I burp her throughout and keep her elevated for 20 minutes after feedings. Seems to be working she hasn't had an episode knock on wood so far 😰. I am sleeping less but to be honest I never slept well knowing she could have an episode at any given time. Doc says it happens more often than we think and that sometimes it starts as early as 3 weeks and even at 11 weeks. subsides (or not as often) when they begin solids. When it happens no matter I you know and prepare it is so scary and for baby as well

glad that this new routine seems to be working for her. all will be fine. make sure you get your rest when you can. ...even though I am sure it's hard

Yea I wouldn't be sleeping either just sitting up watching baby until you know they're ok mommy life, really hope this new routine will work for your baby girl fingers crossed 😘@starting_over39

im currently going thru the same thing with Angel alot more feedings through out the day alot of burping and no sleep. Caleb is a bit better but has severe griping tummy pains and gassy ...colic. so no sleep at all is happening between the 2. seeing our babies in distress like that does alot to us as well. I pray all stays well with you and your princess. xox

aww.. sorry to hear that but on the bright side glad to know they are home with you finally. I know it rough now but it will get better.. God brought us this far I'm sure he'll take us even further 😇. @coco5
