My gyno doesn't even check to see if I'm dilated til 36 weeks, & my last ultrasound is at 38 weeks.... when does…

ill be 35 weeks in 2 weeks at that upcoming appt my dr said they will do a cervix check.had 1 done at 30 weeks when i went to the ER for tightness in my stomach i knew i was having contractions because...i have 2 other sons..i was dehydrated.and when they did a cervix check i almost jumped off the table

my midwife told me she wouldn't check me until 40 weeks

mine did it at 33weeks cause I asked

this is my first as well, hre also told that when i turn 36 weeks then he'll order my last ultrasound

i was checked at 36 weeks but went today for my 37 weeks check up and they didnt check me. my last ultrasound was at 32 weeks

My doctor stated they don't check until 38 weeks, if you ask. I was only checked earlier because I was high risk and had constant contractions for weeks. Since you can stay dilated for a long time and they don't like to risk introducing infection/bacteria.

I wasn't checked till 36 weeks.

some doctors don't check at all...

really knowing if you are dilated or not will just drive you crazy... with my first I didn't dilate until I went into labor... with my 3rd I was a 3cm for 3 weeks!!

I wasn't checked for dilation until 37 and also didn't have my glucose test done until 32 weeks!
