ALL MY MOMMAS NURSING: How often and how much is/did your newborn nurse?? I'm pumping and nursing, but constantly worried my DD isn't getting enough. she seems satisfied tho. Ugh, the struggle is real but I definitely don't want to give up. I haven't introduced her to the bottle or pacifier. She is 8 days old. Any advice helps and is appreciated. TIA

my son is 3 months old EBF, refuses a pacifer. A pump won't show you how much your LO eats or how much you produce. As long as your getting good amount of daipers your good, Also don't be worried if you don't get alot of poopy daipers. some EBF babies poop every 3 to 4 days

I'm a nurse and we encourage our moms to nurse every 3-3 1/2 hours if exclusively breastfeeding. If you are going to pump as well, I would say during the day either try to nurse or pump every 2 hours then at night every 3-4 hours.

As long as she is having enough wet/dirty diapers then she is getting enough. I let my girl feed until she unlatches when she is full. I personally don't use pacifiers and both of my daughters refuse to talk the bottle, so I can't really tell you how much she gets every feeding, but when she was a newborn, she would feed about every 2-3 hrs.
