Kinda freaking out. Just had a c section 5 days ago, and tonight I woke up to the right end of it burning and stinging. I'm a bigger girl so I have to lift my flab up to air my incision out. I can't even do that. They left some tape on it that is supposed to come off on its own, and it's doing that on that side. Idk if it's because it's touching my skin, or if it's getting infected.

I've never had a C-section, but I will tell you my skin is highly sensative to adhesives. Steristrips caused HUGE blisters on and itching burning pain so I had to pull them off and I still have scars from the blisters.

It's uncomfortable for me to have anything there. I can't even wear my belly binder because it hurts. It's just one spot that is doing it, and it's the spot the steristrips came off. I have an appointment on the 31st to check my incision, but I might go sooner. I was just crying it hurt so bad.

@newmomof3, the steri-strips will come off on their own... dont pull them off just leave them until they fall off... when you get out of the shower and a few times a day take a blow dryer and dry off the incision on low just to make sure its super dry and the strios stay dry and you dont get infected... they gave me like gauze pad things to put on the incision... i would just lift my belly flap put the pad on it and while holding the pad in place lay my flap back down and my flap would hold it in place. When i went to chance the pads i would blow dry my incision and start over again... my incision healed pretty quick, never had any problems, and you can hardly see the scar 😊

Mine did that and I'm a bigger girl also. I put antibiotic ointment in gauze and kept it there. Having gauze as a barrier from the skin touching helped me a lot the first few weeks. I've had three c sections and I've done that with all of them if it started to do that. Hope you find some relief soon.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
