7 weeks old! Am I not producing enough for baby if he is wanting to eat like every hr sometimes?if I pump I get like 2oz…

My breastfed baby eats every hour she is 10 weeks now she's also starting to stretch to a bit to 1 and a half hours and I don't need to pump at all unless I want too..breastmilk digest faster and is different from formula I mean my daughter at 7 weeks breastfed every 30-45min and I've known I've been making enough for her from her diaper counts she poops and pees a lot..your body also has a certain amount it holds that may be different then other moms honestly if baby is gaining weight and has plenty poop and pee diapers and unless you wanna start a stash or have milk with her for emergencies you only need to pump once per day especially if your staying at home. Diapers are the best indicator baby is healthy my daughter also pees and poo a lot so I'm never worried even if she breastfeeds often I mean I freaked out when she started eating every hour😂

eating ever hour is fine. you never go by how often bf babies eat. count diapers. check weight. so what if he eats every hr? as long as those things are checking out good then youre good.

just because you pump that little doesn't mean that's all he is getting. Baby is the best pump and gets way more than a pump. Him eating often could mean several different things not just "you aren't making enough" @mommyof2_88
