Could the fact that I only eat two meals a day, everyday be the reason why I'm not producing enough breastmilk ? I need…

Yes it is normal for them to break and then eat again, especially at her age. She could be having a growth spurt and cluster feeding is common. If you feed on demand when she asks for it, she will get plenty and keep your supply up! Have faith in baby and booby. Lol. I know it's comforting to know how much she is getting for sure, but as long as she has wet diapers and gaining weight, you are both doing great!! Also, do not be discouraged if your boobs loose their full of milk feeling, that doesn't mean you have lost supply. The longer you nurse, the more efficient your boobies get at making and storing milk:) your doing good momma! Keep at it. I nursed my son for 13 months and it was amazing. I can't wait to do it again with this baby:) @mommytomia

It sounds like cluster feeding, popping off and on again because she's burning through it quickly. Just keep switching off breasts when she pops off until she seems full 😉

When i started breastfeeding my baby i wasnt producing enough milk for my lo. until my grandma visit me and told me that i should drink a cup of water before feeding my bb. she said that it helps produce more milk and i been doing that for the past month and it did help ALOT!! good luck 😊

@hellosweetie, with nursing - she pulls off in ten min and then wants more again and again is that normal pumping is easier because I know exactly how much she's drinking and it makes her full BC she doesn't ask for more.

@elenalee, I do both when I pump, I only can get 3oz total... 4oz if I keep squeezing the shit out of them :( lol. and when I nurse, she pulls off in like 10 min and I think she's full but then she wants more in like another 10 min!!

Yes I agree with @elenalee, how much you pump IS NOT the same as how much the baby can get from you, I know you like to pump but really letting her nurse on your breasts is the BEST way to keep your supply up!!! I can't reiterate that enough! Just keep nursing and nursing her and she will naturally increase your supply to what she needs, you can't do that with pumping because only SHE knows how much she needs, she's smarter than you think 😉

no problem hope it helps also what I do (growing up with 2 older brothers and all their friends) I'd make a big ass plate at dinner, like I'd pile it on and eat on it throughout the day, cuz they won't eat after anyone so my plate was safe lol, I always ordered extra and took it home if we went out. like if we had burgers I'd always make a 2nd one to eat later but keep it on my plate. So my brothers never touched it but it gave me like a 2nd meal (if that makes sense) hope it helps though! I admire women like you who do what they can to breastfeed! you go hot mama!!! ☺

Are you only pumping? I was never able to pump enough to satisfy my baby, but my body would let down plenty to fill him up with him nursing. ... Just trying to think of things that may help:)

I think drinking enough water is the most important thing... You can get your supply back. Try and let baby nurse as after and long as she will for about 3 days and your milk should increase:)

awww that sucks, definitely do though if you can, I know when I was able to at first with the boys I would snack while one of them was nursing lol my mom would laugh cuz I'd be snacking while they were lol but simple snacks that's cheap but quick n easy to just grab. like I said protein bars from Sams or Costco get a box eat one while she nurses it's not much but it's still something

@twinmamma2015, I'll try that. there's never any food at my boyfriends house! hence why I only am able to eat twice a day :(

From what I heard that you need good rest and to get nutrition, that helps boost your production I would definitely try to fit in snacks like fruit and cheese, or protein bars in your purse as a quick snack. even if you eat just twice but snack a few times, even snack while your feeding your lil girl if you can

@elenalee, yeah when I had an oversupply I was still only eating 2 meals a day but now that my milk regulated.. its definitely not producing enough for her needs :(

If you don't eat and drink enough, it definitely can affect your supply.
