I'm so confused 😕 I had an appointment today and I'm now 3cm and 80% effaced, I was 2cm and 70% effaced like 3 weeks…

I'm so confused 😕 I had an appointment today and I'm now 3cm and 80% effaced, I was 2cm and 70% effaced like 3 weeks ago... yesterday I lost my mucus plug, had my rrlt, went for a walk and by the time I got home was having contractions about every 10 minutes with back pain for a good hour and then they stopped? Isn't 4 cm considered active labor or can you be 4 cm and not be in labor? My due date is next Friday but I'm so confused what's going on with my body 😖 anyone think labor is near for me? I'm starting to think it's not and I'm going to go over.

@missalyssa814, I just wish my little one would make an appearance! I like hearing that I'm progressing but I'd rather be progressing while I'm in labor lol.

I was at 39 weeks and at a 4 and wasn't in active labor. I've been at a 4 for a week.

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
