ok had my sweep today and it was horrible!.. how had everyone else felt after the sweep? I'm in alot of discomfort

Sounds like it might be the start of things then as I was told the sweep usually gets things going within 48 hours if it has worked. My experience was pretty similar, she said I was about 1-2cm dilated and that she could feel the bag of waters "bulging". Like you she had some blood on her fingers after. Definitely sounds like yours was successful though. The pains etc sound like good signs x

I've got the backache.. had diarrhoea straight after.. crotch and hip and low belly pain

I had one last week and it wasn't as bad as I thought (midwife said I was already slightly dilated but nothing has happened since...) had some discharge after but nothing else. Hopefully the discomfort means baby is on their way!! Fingers crossed!!
