Just had my midwife appointment, I'm measuring 4 wks ahead 😱😱😱.....booked in for a stretch and sweep on Friday.

@karla22 yeah I completely agree! It's a shame really but nothing we can do about it xx

@pearce5443 it's true though. Some hospitals are obviously better than others and I know it's not the midwives or doctors fault it's the nhs xx

@pearce5443 yeah it would be the most common sense thing to do. But it costs money to them and that's what they think about xxx

@xstacey123x ah fair enough. I wouldn't worry too much. Ive measuring above the 95th centile throughout the whole pregnancy. I think as long as you follow a line they don't worry. Xx

@pearce5443 they should do a growth scan but like u said because u are following a line they dont, which is daft xx

@pearce5443, I had an extra scan two days before she measured and because baby was weighing what she was meant to be she wasn’t worried, but she didn’t really say too much about if I get bigger and stuff xx

@xstacey123x they tend to wait a couple of weeks and see if you follow a certain centile. But if measurement are up and down you may be referred for growth scan. Although you may be referred for a glucose tolerance test if you carry on measuring big xx

I’m measuring two weeks ahead at the first appointment where bump gets measured. What is the standard procedure for bigger bumps? Xx

@7littlegems I said this to my midwife and she said because I'm still following the same line just slightly off they wouldn't send me for a scan. I think it's bloody ridiculous but there we go xx
