There's no way they could know what to charge you. You pay after everything has been sent to insurance

@mybabychloe011017, they charge u after if undone have insurance. other countries like phili charge u before they do anything but we r in America

Every insurance is different, so I don't know. Call the insurance and find out what they cover

@mybabychloe011017, you don't have to, but I chose to I didn't want any bills coming after the baby.
If you don't have a copay you should be good, however you will probably receive bills from the anesthesiologist if you need one and the pediatrician if your childs pediatrician doesn't come to the hospital but you don't have to pay anything up front.

my ob/gyn talked to my insurance company, found out how much everything would cost and then divided it into 5 payments for me to make. so yes, some places do require you to pay. I prefer it this way

if. you have insurance with no copay then you should be totally fine. if you have copay then the bill usually comes after the baby is born and youre home unless you choose to pay it before hand.
