Traditionally I always take my sisters trick or treating now(14),(15) I want to stroller baby around while they trick or treat this year at least a little bit but I'm afraid she will be too small less than a month old so I don't see that happening. My sisters are probably at a good age where they can go by themselves at this point. Anyway how old were your babies when you first took them out other then the doctors??? And what's a good age to have their first outing?
I know you and I think based off that you will be a good mom , 💁🏽 even if your child catches a cold from decent weather as a 1st time parent we deserve that learning experience to know what and what not to do WITH OUR CHILD
@mrsrose, exactly that's how it should be my mom don't even tell me what to do with mines she trust me more than I do myself.
Yes , me and Dylan's father isn't on the same page but his mother completely lets me parent my way and I love that even tho I'm a 1st time parent and she's well above my age and has 2 grown children
@mrsrose, Right I had to talk to him about his demanding mother today lol
@desi720, every parent should be entitled to their own parenting skills when it comes to their children ... At this point you bd has more say than the grandma and even he can't tell you what to do with a child your carrying lol although he is the father
@jasholbert, I'm definitely going to do that now we are really close in weeks a day apart to be exact lol🤗
I'm taking my girl trick or treating 😅 My MIL took her kids to church as soon as she was discharged from the hospital and all, she just kept them in a carrier so no one could hold them or whatever and I plan to do the same.
i always buy a netting cover. to keep bugs out/people from touching newborn haha for stroller and rain cover and leave it in basket
@mrsrose, yes you right and I also have a mother in law that likes to tell ppl what to do and since we trick or treat near her house we will see how it goes.
@mommy2be711, oh wow seems to be more common than I thought. Good to know
Depending on the weather desi you are smart and will make a wise choice for YOUR child 💁🏽so if it's nice put her on warm clothing not too hot and take her out
car seat Canopy are great for cold and rainy weather. I live in WA so it rains and gets cold once in awhile especially in fall and winter
I took my son grocery shopping when he was 5 days old. I didn't let anyone touch him or get too close (arms length away) and I kept him either in his stroller or in my arms
@kiaaaaj, yay I'm excited now everybody says it's fine as long as it doesn't rain and it's not extremely cold she should be good to go😊 I can't wait last year halloween the weather was perfect 👌🏾
I'm taking my girl out she'll be close to a month, you should
@babizehm16, oh wow lol and here I am worried about a few weeks lol I'm glad it worked out
@tayek, ok that's good advice. I feel I don't want to be mean to ppl but I want to protect me baby more so I guess if they want a sneak peak that's fine🙂
I took my daughter out and about once we were discharged from the hospital 4 days after her birth. she was 5 weeks early. I just made sure she was nicely bundled since it was February when she was born. I also had to go back to work 2 1/2 weeks after her birth so I didn't want to spend it at home
@desi720, I usually deflect them with a video clip or a cute pic. I'm pretty straightforward tho, and most people are understanding. I have him uncovered now because it's hot, and so he could look around, but even at 6 months old, I still prefer people not paw at him. When he was tiny I'd just pull a corner of the blanket back so they could look.
@housfullofgrls, that's what I want to do great I'm not alone☺️
If it's not super cold or raining I'm taking my girl out, she'll be 3-ish weeks
@tayek, oh thanks I didn't expect that I don't feel so worried anymore. So has anyone ever come up to you while you out and want to touch and see the baby what do you do/say?
I've always taken my son out. He was born in February, and since he was a week old we've gone about our regular program. I don't let people breathe on him, and as it gets cool again I'll throw a blanket over his stroller. These ladies are correct!
I have been taking my son out since he was a week old. as long as nobody gets in your babies face or touches him you'll be fine. My son hasn't been sick at all and I believe it's the best way to build their immune system by getting them out
@sherrynygirl, you maybe right because I don't see how being stuck in the house can build their immune system
@desi720, oh definently. he slept almost the whole time :)
@allyk.xmommy, oh ok a week old I see I'm glad he did good😊
to build the immune system i would take them out in the strollers in the evening for a little bit(20-30min) as newborns
my son was born in feb 2015 and we brought him trickortreating with my step kids but even at a week old I brought him to Wal-Mart. he did good
I think this will be my LAST baby. My boyfriend is up there in age 🤷🏽♀️
What age should I wait to take my baby trick or treating? She'll only be about 2 months old this year. Is that too young? 😩😭

Me and my princess first time getting epidural and I’m numb from legs is this normal i can’t walk good yet
@mrsrose, facts🙌🏾
