Ok so I have an interview on the 6th at 10am for a position that pays 18$ an hour I originally had an appt scheduled that day at 4:30 so I was going to leave at 3:45 but instead the appt got moved for tomorrow and I didn't tell them cause my doctor is going to wait for me to get there since I work 8-4:30 I really need the interview and they know I'm in school and my son has breathing issues as well I want to make it to the interview at 10am so should I just tell them my appt got moved up to 10am instead and ask to come in an hour earlier the interview is 10 mins away from my job I've already called off on the 22 for the first interview process but lied and said I was sick on the 15th I came in 2 hours late but was due to school which they knew in advance I don't want to loose this job trying to get another that pays more and better benefits because the company is really trying to get me in I got inside info from my sister who works there as well
If you really want to go to the interview then tell them whatever excuse you have to. If your job hasn't given you a warning about your time yet then you're still good. I went on many interviews while I had a job. Its all about coordinating your time so you wont make it look suspicious. Hope everything works out. Good luck!
@queenof3, I've inly been here since April and I'm on the probation period still because they extended it due to I only had a week training and messed up so they extended it my manager is understanding when I say about appointments I just don't want to also tell my current job I'm pregnant yet as the excuse
