Seriously just started BAWLING my eyes out when I opened my closet and saw my hospital registration paper, one of his preemie diapers, and his little isolette decorations with his name....I still feel robbed of those last few weeks where he had to spend a month and a half in the NICU, I was jipped of those weeks in utero, feeling him move, sleeping with him safe inside my belly....Remembering my traumatic emergency c-section, and all the tears I shed when I had to leave him in the hospital in the care of others, while I went home an hour and a half away....But traveled to see him every single day....You have NO idea how had it is to leave your tiny baby every day and go home without him so far away until you are the one who has to do it. I am so thankful to God to have him here, but boy, do I wish things had gone differently. ..no matter how much time I spend with him now, I will never get those first few weeks back 😭 This is why it hits such a nerve with me when selfish women want to self induce for no reason too early

Amen preach. I had my first daughter at 29 weeks and she had a 6 week nicu stay hardest thing ever . When she was born they took her away to the nicu right away my first time ever holding her was when she was 2 weeks old. I faithful visited her and spent all day long with her reading to her and talking to her. I cried every time I left her. I also felt robbed of my pregnancy and hate to see woman self induce themselves cause "they can't handle it" smh

my son was only four weeks early, and I still felt robbed of my pregnancy. not only that but the first month of his life was so hard, we were in the nicu a week and after we got out we were at the doctors every other day.. being uncomfortable is definitely not an excuse for having a premature baby
