My daughter is 3 weeks old today. When she drinks her formula she has just recently started drinking it so fast that it sounds like she's choking or drowning as soon as I pull the bottle out of her mouth she starts crying. As soon as I put it back in her mouth same thing again. Anyone else having this happen? I have tried several different bottles and same thing. I'm going to talk with the dr but thought I would see If anyone on here has the same problem until I get to the dr! Thanks

that sounds like stridor which is what my baby has too. he makes a choke like sqeaking when he eats and he has troubles leaking with most bottles. ive heard the minbie bottles are incredible for babies with bottle issues. right now were using the nuk bottles with the angled nipple and hes taking it better than any other bottle so far but still not perfect

I would try slow flow nipples. The best ones I've found are Avent brand. They are also rounder and will feel more like the breast to your baby!

My baby does that, she eats really fast like a greedy chipmunk..sometimes she does make herself choke. If I feel like she's about to choke I remove the bottle until she catches her breath then give it back to her bc she will get upset too . Think it's just how they drink. She's on slow flow Tommee Tippees

No. I'm not sure she just acts like she is choking and it will start running out of her mouth.

Are you sure it's not just heavy gulping?
