Okay. So I'm exclusively breastfeeding & I just started school last week so she goes to head start . Before i started school i fed her with the bottle every now and then so she can start getting used to drinking from the bottle. She was doing good. And when I went to school it seemed like she was doing good. Until this weekend I tried feeding her from a bottle but she WILL NOT take it . She throws tthe biggest fit ever . my mother In law my boyfriend and a couple other people tried to give her the bottle but she doesn't take it she doesn't stop crying until I give her my boob. If I dont give her my boob she will not eat until I do. i dont see how the people from head start do it to make her drink from THE bottle .I even tried switching bottles and nipples nothing seems to help . Anyone know what I can do ? . And I notice ever since she started Head start and shes been drinking from the bottle she's been more gassy and has collic. Could it be cause of the bottles?

yes i have I tried a lot of nipples slow one's and the ones formed as a breast but she won't take them
@mommytoliliana, i use the kiinde slow nipple. If you haven't tried that one.
@kmally, fall!!!??? Like an accident? Im fighting to get my sons clipped. He's 3 weeks, i wanna get it over with before it becomes a problem. He nurses and takes a bottle fine but I'm nervous about it.
@dashhaberdash, by the time we found his he was "too old" for the places I could take him to get it clipped. They said if he didn't fall and tear it by the time he was 4 they would clip it. And sure enough around 15 months he fell and tore it! :'(
@kmally, did you get your sons clipped? My son has a tongue and lip tie
You can talk to your ped about it getting clipped. It can help with her latch :)

what can i do to prevent that? i switched the nipple to the slow flow but i guess she still drinks it fast & Could it be that ?
It could be. She might be gulping/eating faster with the bottle. Sounds like she just misses mommy :) <3 She wants all the mommy time she can get on weekends so she wants it fresh from the tap lol.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though

@dashhaberdash, he was running outside and tripped :( it's super common for it to happen that way if it's not clipped when they're little. I would definitely recommend getting it clipped now if you can. There's a lot of bottle/latch/nursing/gassy issues that would have been alleviated had we known sooner.
