Is anyone on here the wife/SO of a pilot? Can you tell me what it's like? How much is he home and not home?
My husband is considering becoming a pilot, so I am curious what it's like.

@lareina_kk, he's interested in planes/helicopters, and loves drones. The school is 30 minutes away, but we'd probably move right next to the school. So why months away from home at a time?

My husband flies with pilots all the time he's home two weeks out of the month every month.

Omg my husband is too. the schooling alone is months away from home at a time. is he already familiar with planes or helicopters?

@kat616, my husband is in the army national guard. the school for pilots on helicopters are like 6 and 8 weeks. tanning after training. after that he will be home
