Does this look like a dog? If so, what kind? Someone posted it on a lost dog Facebook page and said that she is very skinny and looks like she's been on her own for a while. She kind of looks like a baby fox or coyote to me.
I would say fox. And people have fox pets so that's what the collar comes from. Husband would loove to have a fox lol
Long haired chihuahua is what it looks like to me. Lol I've never seen a fox or a coyote that looks anything like that..
I dont think that's a coyote. Coyote are fluffy when they're babies not stringy haired if that makes sense. Maybe Fox?

I would be surprised if it's a dig, the length and angle of the hock look wrong for a dog that size.
That's an old dog that's in rough shape. I would call it a Pom mix. I work at an animal shelter. :)

Maybe she can test the chupacabra theory (although it looks a bit hairy to be one from what I hear)...adult ones are said to suck chickens and goats dry, toss this "baby one" in the bathroom with a parrot and check back later...
To me, it looks like an incredibly old type of dog. Id never say a baby lol I have 15 yr old mutt and she looks NOTHING like she did when I got her as a pup. Looks totally haggard and grey.
It totally looks like a baby fox to me!! Have you googled images? I'm gonna. Lol just the legs and then that nose and darkness around it. And the dark eyes. It might just be poor quality on here I've noticed the image quality isn't the best. Hmm.
Can't wait to see what the vet says. Cause it's so dang cute to me that I want to know if it IS a dog so I can look for one lol. If not a dog then eek!

Looks like a pom to me. I'm sure if I left my dog in the woods and it came back it would look like this. Lol. Not that I'd ever do that he's my baby lol. But I would definitely guess pom. Give him a bath (if possible) feed him and give him some loving. Looks scared :(

Looks to me like a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix. But it looks to be either pretty old, horrible dry coat and the cataracts in it's eyes, or horribly mistreated. Give that baby a bath and some TLC!! It is an actual dog and this is what they look like when they get old or when no one takes care of it.

A bunch of people were commenting saying it looked like a fox and then the lady said it had a collar on it and took a picture. It was a Christmas collar!

I'm with pp, maybe an elderly, mangy pomeranian? Mine was tiny - 5 lbs, had a definite fox like face, and cataracts. I think it's adorable.
OP! Ask the FB poster for us: Why is it indoors? Does it bite? Does it sound weird? How did you catch it? What'd the vet say? Exactly how big is it? Where are you located? Is there an equally weird looking, bigger one now lurking outside? If so, throw it out a window. And finally, does it stink to high heaven?
My vet friend says it looks like an ancient long hairs chihuahua but she said she can't really tell from a picture.

If you google baby coyote it looks like a mangy long furred coyote. So maybe a coyote/dog mix.

This ain't pregnancy related but I'm very worried about my dog. She won't eat hard dog food or the soft and moist kind. She will only eat the cans of the wet dog food and gourmet meal dog food that's in a can. And she won't drink water. She hasn't gained any weight and she looks super skinny. I really want her to eat her regular dog food. How can I help her put meat on her bones. She's half chihuahua so Ik she won't get to fat but like she's super skinny rite now.
guys does this look like two sacs? the lady didn't say anything when she was doing the ultra sound but someone said it looked like it so I'm kinda freaking out right now.
