That is some kind of wild creature.

If it's a dog it's falling under the scruffy/mangy type. I have seen some like this but my best best would be coyote baby.

I would message/comment telling them to take it to a vet to get evaluated. If it is wild, their best bet would be to return it back into the woods. Might be looking for its family.

Looks like a Pomeranian mix. It does kind of look like a fox, but I've seen a baby fox and it didn't look anything like this. Like foxes eyes are smaller and they don't have as much fluff around the face.

Could be a fox that mated with a tied up dog, could be some different breed of fox, or anything. I sure hope whoever found it takes it to a vet.

My hubby had a wild wolf as a pet longgg ago. It was actually his dad's pet. The wolf came around and only let his dad interact and be around it. The wolf was named magic and he followed hubby's dad around everywhere.... Until people didn't want him around anymore. Magic would dig in people's yards a lot and everyone was pretty much scared of him. I want a wolf as a pet :)

Pp, dogs and foxes cannot mate, they have a different number of chromosomes, even though they are in the same family. The number of chromosomes are so far apart the chances of this actually happening are very fictional.

Looks to me like a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix. But it looks to be either pretty old, horrible dry coat and the cataracts in it's eyes, or horribly mistreated. Give that baby a bath and some TLC!! It is an actual dog and this is what they look like when they get old or when no one takes care of it.

Well it did have a collar that was from Christmas.

It totally looks like a baby fox to me!! Have you googled images? I'm gonna. Lol just the legs and then that nose and darkness around it. And the dark eyes. It might just be poor quality on here I've noticed the image quality isn't the best. Hmm.

To me, it looks like an incredibly old type of dog. Id never say a baby lol I have 15 yr old mutt and she looks NOTHING like she did when I got her as a pup. Looks totally haggard and grey.
