Are you formula feeding? Maybe that's not agreeing with her. My son had to be switched to soy formula. The definition of colic is a baby crying at least 2-3 hours a days for like 5 days a week for at least 3 weeks in a row. My son has it. It's awful. Nothing will soothe them, they just scream. Just because you're using the bottles doesn't really mean anything. I use them too. Colicky babies usually cry at the same time of day. My son cries every night for 2 hours between 6-8 before bed. But my son also fights sleep really bad at the end of the day when he hasn't napped well. Have you tried gas drops for her belly or gripe water?

She doesn't cry often, honestly she normally doesn't cry unless she is hungry until today. @mrsjohnson19610 she is getting breast milk @jacesterlingsmommy no formula. We use gas drops and they help some, but like I said she isn't having any issues getting the gas out, just seems like she is straining to poop. She hasn't pooped since Thursday night/Friday morning, but I hadn't really thought much of it cause she has went a couple days without a dirty diaper before and had no issues. She hates gripe water and refuses to swallow it, even when we put it in her cheek or towards the back of her mouth she will gag and spit it out.

Maybe something you ate then didn't agree with her? I was breastfeeding my son at first but it wasn't agreeing with him. There are ways to help them poop. I know when I breastfeed my son pooped after almost every feeding. Or she could just do what my son does and fight sleep or be over stimulated and just has trouble sleeping.

Well she isn't getting my breast milk. I can't produce milk, so my SIL is giving me hers, but she has been on it for a week and a half with no issues. Last time she went longer than a day without a dirty diaper she was getting both breast milk and formula @jacesterlingsmommy I have been massaging her tummy and working her legs, both pushing up to her chest and bicycling them. Any other tips?

my son did this and he was constipated. his doctor told us to use 1 oz 100% baby juice(pear,apple) and 1 oz water. he pooped later that night.

How old was he? @haydensmommy5 she is not quite 4 weeks yet and I'm just scared that will be too much on her stomach..

When my son was 4 weeks old my pedi said I could give baby 1oz of juice if he was constipated. But you seem to be doing everything else that should or could work. I breastfeed for 3 weeks and my son just developed problems practically overnight needing soy. Not saying that's the problem at all but it could happen. It could still be something she ate that didn't agree with baby. I know like if I ate Mexican one day he would be extra gassy then fine the next day. Honestly it could be alot of things. I know I've heard the pedi say they don't consider it a problem until they've gone like 5 days without pooping. I hope she gets better! If in doubt call her pedi 😊
