gave birth on the 12th and i dont breastfeed i was told my boobs shoulda been hurting by now and they havent yet but i noticed they r engorged they look bigger and feel harder soo are they gonna leak? start hurting? stay like this? whats going on here whats gonna happen

It is odd to have a baby latched on to your boob but it's so sweet at the same time. I don't let my husband touch them these days. He says they're not his anymore. Lol. You can always pump and give your baby milk from that. I've been pumping for 3 months. I just now got the hang of nursing regularly. But you do what's right for you. @valrocks i know it probably sounds stupid but it would feel like a sexual thing , i dont think its sexual if other people do it i just couldnt really deal with the feeling of doing that . plus bottle feeding just seems a lot easier

If they are engorged that means that colostrum or milk is accumulating. Try pumping to relief the engorment because they will start hurting and leaking soon. @sophia8937
Can I ask why you're not breastfeeding?? I'm not looking to bash im just curious
@sophia8937, some woman's milk never comes in. My sister never got hers. Just keep an eye on them and make sure the don't get rock hard or turn red. If they do call your doc.
I would just leave them and don't try to mess with them too much unless you feel a lump that is super tender to the touch. I heard putting cabbage leaves in your bra should help dry them up faster. lol sounds weird ino but it works great.
