What do y'all ladies think about inducing? I'm due in 8 days but my hubby has a crazy schedule an he's the only one working right now due to maternity leave an he asked me what did I think about getting induced so he could know for sure when she would come besides getting a surprise phone call from work an having to leave work an travel about 2 hrs or so to come to where me and babygirl would be. I'm nervous but I also want him there every sec of the moment when it's time!!

Guess I'll base it all off of the appt today, hopefully she'll check to see if I'm dilated. If nothing has happened she has me scheduled for another growth ultrasound 2 days before my due date. Lol I guess I'll get her opinion today about what's best. it all depends honestly if she does come before then . you never know . I went from 0 to 2 cm dilated in a matter of days . the doctor told me they give me a few days or a week to have her .
I am currently being induced.. And it was my option. I'm 40 weeks, and been stuck at 1cm with baby high up. I feel if your full term, and know all the risks involved with being induced, it's all up to you. I personally didn't feel comfortable going over due. My baby is measuring a week ahead also.. I wasn't feeling any contractions also.. But come to find out, I've been having steady contractions at 4-5 minutes and wasn't feeling them. But I'm only 1cm.
Maternity leave
Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
