For 6 months, not once has my child slept though the night. He won't sleep anywhere but in bed with me. I can hardly move or he wakes up. He tosses and turns all night long even if he does sleep which keeps me up. He wakes up 10-20 times a night (from about 9pm to 5 pm) I'm left feeling so fucking exhausted and never getting more than 30 min of sleep at a time IF THAT. I can't function like this and I don't know how to stop him from comfort nursing and keep him asleep! Half the time he wakes up for absolutely no reason what so ever! I feel like I'm losing my mind and all I can do is scream and cry because I literally feel like I am living in a nightmare.
Thankyou! I may start trying to implement that and the night time bath routine again because I start school next week and won't be working nights anymore, so it'll be easier to keep a routine going. @theinkedmommy
A little here and there, he eats solids less than 3x a week as of right now he's exclusively breastfed still. @theinkedmommy
darn well when my daughter is asleep on my chest I slowly roll to my side and lay her down and she stays asleep but you said he wakes up when moved huh? and I would definitely try the bath again with sleepy time lotion . oh and have you tried putting the oatmeal or rice cereal in his bottle I've heard of other people doing that to help their baby sleep
yea that totally makes sense. don't wake up a sleeping baby lol
Yeah he falls asleep on my chest, but I can't sleep like that 😕 I wish I could! @mrscruz0530 and I was doing that when he was little, I definitely think we'll try that again. Only problem is when I work nights and get off late we don't get home till late and he's usually passed out then so I wouldn't be giving him a bath that night bc it would make him wide awake. @lucyyxoxo_
I had my son on a schedule. by 9pm I gave him a lavender bath. played with him a bit. made sure to keep him awake til he nursed from both sides and put him to sleep. he'd be out til 6am.. try it babies sleep so much better after a bath.
Have you tried sleeping with him on your chest ? Idk how comfortable you are with that but my daughter used to only sleep if she was on my chest now she's in my bed with me and sleeps through the night in the mornings she wakes up and I lay her on me to eat (breastfeed) and she falls asleep on my and I go back to sleep like that
It's like he's asleep as long as he's touching me but he's still tossing and turning and I just get to the point where I'm like something has got to be wrong! Like he's gotta be sick of something idk what is going on @ryliannsmommy
@babyjjsmommy, my daughter does that 😕 I'm sorry girl! maybe hold him in your arms where he can't turn over he might fight you a bit but eventually he will get tired an fall asleep. that's what I have to do Ryliann some times cause she won't hold still.
Oh yeah girl he sucks his pacifier all the time he usually spits it out constantly though so I just have to keep putting it back in. I don't even think that's the issue. What's really driving me insane tonight is that he just keeps acting like he's going to sleep and then he starts rolling over and tossing and turning and won't just be still and stay asleep. @ryliannsmommy
have you tried a pacifier? its a life saver an my daughter goes right back to bed an gives her something to suck on.
Like at this moment I wish more than anything I had someone, fucking anyone to just take him for the night because I'm so done. I can exercise my patience for about a week without sleep, but I get to the point where I'm literally so exhausted I cannot function at all and I feel like I am literally losing my mind, and it makes me so fucking irritable and hateful toward everyone. Including my baby and thats just NOT me! I see women whose babies have been sleeping through the night since they were itty bitty and I'm so envious of them, I would be lucky to get a few hours sleep within the course of a week. I wish a baby could just understand that mommy has to have sleep in order to be MOMMY. 😭😭😭 @virgosweetness
I’m so tired but I can’t sleep. Every time I lay the baby down he wakes up after like 10 minutes. 😴
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Lol I just want to keep kissing him till he wakes up
My son just turned 4 months and he eats a lot like 5 ounces every 2 - 3 hours is that bad ? Should I start introducing him to cereal ? He's on enfamil formula maybe mixing cereal in his milk will keep his tummy full for a longer time ? I don't want to be over feeding him , he also spits up a lot & sometimes I have a really hard time getting his gases out he randomly gets these tantrums out of nowhere because he has trapped gas & the only way he calms down is if I pick him up and walk around the ...
I need advice. My son is 5 months old. Since he knows how to turn from back to stomach he wants to sleep only on the stomach. I woke up last night like 7 times to flip him back but in a second he went back to his stolach. I know its not safe for babies to sleep on their stomach but I cant be up all night. Im worrying and trying to figure out how to keep him on his back.
That's awesome! I'm definitely going to start that tonight since I don't work. He slept much better last night and my sister had to watch him while I worked so he had a bottle and I don't know if that helped. I also fed him baby food yesterday morning. @theinkedmommy
