I need advice. My son is 5 months old. Since he knows how to turn from back to stomach he wants to sleep only on the stomach. I woke up last night like 7 times to flip him back but in a second he went back to his stolach. I know its not safe for babies to sleep on their stomach but I cant be up all night. Im worrying and trying to figure out how to keep him on his back.

If he rolls on his stomach by himself and he has good control of his head and neck then it's fine to leave him that way. That's the way ge wants to be @babyboy1202

As long as he can roll himself over or lift his head up he should be fine! My daughter's doing the same thing and if she finds herself stuck she starts crying so I know to go get her. I was up for a few nights worrying too until I realized she could do it by herself

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

Sleep Training ! So I went ahead and hired the sleep consultant. I was at a loss with how poor Davis's sleep was, and because I was suffering from PPD, the sleep deprivation was making me not be able to cope with daily life. Davis had no idea how to put himself to sleep whatsoever.. I would nurse him to sleep and then rock him and then carefully put him down in his crib fast asleep. If he woke up when I put him down I would have to repeat the process.. Sometimes it took 2 hours to get him back to sleep. On top of that he is such a light sleeper so ANY tiny sound would wake him up and because the only way he knew how to sleep was to be nursed or rocked then that's what he would expect. We tried bed sharing and his sleep and mine was even worse.. I just didn't know what to do anymore. I went to a seminar on baby and toddler sleep and I decided to take the leap and the cost ($480) to hire the sleep consultant. The first night and day was so so hard.. He cried a lot and because it's not the CIO method, I was there beside him the whole time patting his back and rubbing his belly, giving him kisses and picking him up for some cuddles (which I think made it worse). After that first awful night and day.. He has already begun to sleep through the night and nap for 1.5 hours + during the day.. He actually has gone down for naps now without crying and falling asleep in under 10 minutes. He slept 11 hours the past two nights in a row.. I honestly can't believe the difference especially in him ! He has been so happy, calm and not fussy like he was before throughout the day. I'm still not sleeping as well because I'm constantly staring at the monitor but I'm hoping in time I'll feel more comfortable with him in his crib and on his tummy (I hate it so much).
