Mommy's I need advice.

Tonight, I put my 8 week old son in his crib in his room to sleep. His room is right across from mine and I have the monitor on, but for some reason I'm still worried about him. Should I keep him in my room still? Is it too early to try to start him sleeping in his own crib? He outgrew his bassinet that comes with the nursery center (playpen changing table combo) so I put him in his play pen to sleep for a while. Now, I'm trying the crib out but not sure if it's too soon. I'm worried about not hearing him or something happening and I'm in my room sleeping.

help!

She was a little over a month old. I day the sooner the better. now I can just lay her in there and she will put herself to sleep. it's so nice.... she's been doing that since she was like 4 months old.

You should be fine if you have a monitor. I had my daughter in her room when she was 2 months and I don't have a monitor. I leave both our doors open and I hear her. She can sneeze or move her arms and I'll wake up.

@mdomke22, Thank you. What age did you start putting her in her crib at night?

no I think it's perfectly fine especially if you have a monitor 9/10 you will hear him if he starts fussing. I still use a monitor in my daughter's room and she's 18 months. lol I still listen for her every night.
