So was with my best friend yesterday and her ex boyfriend was blowing up her phone like always because he brakes up with her then crawls back. Well he knows most Saturdays we hang out and he had the nerve to say he hopes she gets cancer and dies. Now 3 1/2 months ago my husband was diagnosed with cancer and he knows this. I swear after she read me that text I about jumped out of the pool and went over there to give him a piece of my mind. I am so tierd of people throwing cancer around like it's a game. It's mentally physically and emotionally exhausting to the family and person going though it. It just erks me. People don't understand what kind of pain it puts you through especially since at 5 months pregnant we lost my husband's grandfather to cancer the at 5 months with our daughter we find out our husband has cancer. Talk about exhausting and stressful. I am so thankful I am a Christian women because I probably would not have kept my cool otherwise. Sorry for the vent needed to get off my chest. It just eats me up.
Praying for you and your family. It's all about the fight, supporting one another and not giving up. He's lucky to have you.
@dabcw3814, His mass has shrunk 50% and is getting ready to talk about removing the rib where the cancer started. He will still have to go through 7 more months of chemo and radiation but they say that he should be in the clear then, but it's still going to be a long journey. It's still scary and although they keep saying it's getting better I still worry that it will be found somewhere else.
How is your husband doing? You had some very kind words for me when my father was diagnosed with stage 4 two months ago.
@bugmama, people have some nerve! definitely not a joking subject. What's amazing to see who have gone thru cancer ,They are still angelic& just enjoy every moment ! This should teach all adults everything will be okay,♡ they were more concerned that they were burdens to their families*when in reality they were truly blessings
Thank you. @nygirl3rdbabymiami It's a struggle but we are getting a lot of family and friend support thankfully. God is good and has his plans even if I don't understand them. I just couldn't believe he had the adasity to say that
yrs ago my older son who is 20 now his best friend passed away when they were in 7th grade he had brain cancer from 5 yrs old *No one should ever joke about cancer, yrs ago I had a niece who tried her best and gave it her all she had brain cancer from 14-18yrs old & passed away NEVER complained or asked why it was given to her. This should teach us all to love our loved ones,be Grateful be humble ! and dont fight over petty things.
