Ladies please I am in need of help.. Yesterday I was so happy but now I feel like I've been hit by a car my heart is breaking and I've been crying for 5mins
Yesterday I went to my doctor appointment and my boyfriend was able to see a fetal pole words couldn't even express how happy I was to hear him tell me even tho the u/s tech isn't allowed to tell us until our doctor sees the images... But I got a call from my doctor and she told me that there was in fact a fetal pole but NO heartbeat and I am currently 7w... I have to go back for yet another u/s with the doctor I really don't wana see, can someone please tell me when a fetus has a heartbeat. This isn't my 1st pregnancy and I hear different things... Please someone help end this confusion

huh I'm sry that's alot of stress I lost my baby a 5w5days I was told that the heart starts beating a 6weeks I had probly 5 u/s bf my DNC I'm sending lots of prayers are u having any other symptoms that are making u think the baby isent ok

Thank you ladies. I will try not to stress out. It's just heartbreaking thinking something is wrong but I will have to wait till next Friday @sarahb518 @aboutellesbabe @b3autifulm3ss

I was told that 8 weeks is when you can see one for sure. My ob told me that she doesn't even do ultrasounds before the 8th week because they can't always find the heartbeat and it freaks the moms out. Maybe it was just too early to see it clearly on the u/s. Try to to stress and worry as that's not good for baby.

@ladyace, yes i agree with @aboutellesbabe also- is it possible that you miscalculated the weeks you are? i did that with my last pregnancy(ended in loss) but i was 1 1/2 weeks off i thought i was 6 weeks and i was only 4weeks3days

The fetus always has a heartbeat, it is just hard to see in the early weeks. I heard, and I'm not sure how correct this is, that 6 weeks is the point when the heartbeat should be more visible through the u/s. But it's still possible that you won't be able to find it! So try not to worry! The baby might just be hiding from you guys.
