*UPDATE* Ladiessssss so I was debating on sharing this information as it means a lot to me so at my anatomy appointment…

@kiaajanay, My son had a brain injury at birth due to medical fault. He’s had several muscle biopsies, a Gtube insertion (feeding tube inserted into his belly) stomach banding and the list goes on. He actually has a surgery next Monday also. He’s now 4 and even if we’d have known he’d be the way he is I’d never have changed anything for the world ❤️ I’m raising my hero he’s taught us so much.

Listen doctors do not have the final say if you know God trust him not only in your bad times but good times as well a short testimony for you just to uplift your spirit. My sister was pregnant 2 years ago and the doctors told her to terminate my niece because she had heart and lung issues. When ever she went for ultrasound they would say that her heart amd lungs were not growing properly at the rate they should. They asked my sister to terminate her pregnancy 5 times. My sister told them no because I am a Christian and i will not abort my child. They told my sister that if she doesn't terminate that when the baby is born she is going to need immediate surgery, she wont be able to breath on her own, shes going to be having surgery the first 5 years of her life and she will be hooked on all types of moniters and ECT. What we did as a family was prayed together and fasted for some time. Every ultrasound my sister got after still did not show much improvement for my niece but can I tell you the day that she was born the doctors could not understand what was going on. My niece was born healthy as ever she didnt need any surgery, no breathing tubes NOTHING! Her oxygen levels were 100% and they kept my sister in the hospital for a couple extra days trying to figure out how my niece was so healthy with everything that they were seeing on the ultrasounds. My niece is 1 years old now with literally 0 health issues, why because God has the final say not any doctor. If you do not know him or have a relationship with him get to know him live because he works miracles and no my story is not made up, up to this day im still shocked as how God can truly work miracles. I’ve never experienced anything like this with my 2 year old so all of this is new to me!!!! I believe in god and you are right he does work miracles! Lately i have been having tests and trials and god has not failed me yet ! You are absolutely right i need to sit down and talk to him and assure that he has me like he had me the last time thank you soooooo much !!!!! Prayers for you and baby . Glad your going to get a second opinion . I can't believe the doctor told you that. In alot the cases the doctors are wrong. I would most definitely give my baby a chance no matter what. God bless you and baby❤

My younger brother had to be flown to a hospital over an hour away in another state immediately after he was born because one of his heart valves weren't opening and he was tiny. He's 14, healthy and strong with no issues. There's was a lot of praying happening. Keep your head up. In Jesus name it will all work out. Pray and remember you aren't alone in this, momma.

Pray and command her heart to grow and function like a normal healthy one! Don't settle for the plan the enemy, God is a healer!

I went through this with older daughter she had surgery and everything is great seven year later

@kiaajanay, my lil sister has a very rare heart defect called scimitar syndrome. She only has one kidney and one lung that works 15% the other 90%. We were told she wouldn’t live past 4 years old and on Oct 21st she will be 19 years old! She has had many surgeries but she is a fairly active teen jus like any other! Anything is possible with God mama ❤️

I would get second/third opinions, and switch your OB to someone who will be supportive of you fighting for your baby. If my midwife ever said something like that to me (she would never) I’d switch in a heartbeat. You don’t want negativity surrounding your future visits and labor/delivery with that doctor.

@kiaajanay, enjoy your pregnancy love if your baby is in there fighting than you fight too !! Listen to doctors so you’d have an idea of what to expect so your not completely blindsided at the end and can be strong for your little one when that time comes !! But by no means just take in everything they are saying they really won’t have a clear view until baby is here . Pray about it and leave it to god

I would not end my pregnancy over something that you honestly don’t know how bad or serious it really is doctors don’t know it all and it’s been plenty of times where they said a baby won’t survive or won’t do this and that and with some surgeries and therapy they thrived in a way doctors didn’t see !! Give your baby a chance and cross that battle when baby is born they are a lot stronger than what we think !! ❤️❤️

My best friend's son was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and needed open heart surgery shortly after birth. They discovered the issue after he was born, but before he was discharged from the hospital. He needed surgery again for phase two of the procedure when he was five. He has not needed phase three yet, and is a thriving 12 year old. He is limited some physically (cannot do contact sports), but more than makes up for it in his other interests.

Science has come a long way since he was diagnosed, and life expectancy as well as quality of life are continuously improving as they deal with more cases.

I hope everything goes well with the second opinion. It's a tough position to have to be in, but knowledge can help make the road a little easier to navigate.

You say a prayer to God I got alot of bad news my whole pregnancy and i know how it feels to be hurt and stressed. I called on the Father up above and he stepped in and proved the drs wrong. My baby is a hero besides having epilepsy he is a healthy piece of meat. I nearly lost it and didn't enjoy my pregnancy because of the news I was getting. I look at him sometimes and just cry because I couldn't enjoy the little life inside of me because of a Dr. Rebuke Satan baby in the name of Jesus. Keep ya head up mama you got this. Awh honey I’m so sorry!!! I’d suggest going to a great hospital for a second opinion. My daughter started having surgeries at 6 months. I know how it feels. Praying for you

Get a second opinion to be safe

Do what you're intuition tells you you do. If you don't want to terminate the pregnancy then don't, some babies do need surgery when they are born and it's scary I know but if nothing else is really wrong then cross that bridge when the time comes
