how the heck do people afford daycare for their kids? all the places we've looked are half of my monthly salary!!! we can't afford that 💰 we are even discussing Kenny going back on an off shift but then I'd never see him and he'd miss out on so much 😕 how do both parents work full time and afford daycare? this is not a rhetorical question...super stressed mom to be over here!
I was paying 400 plus a week but got title 20 I pay 48 a week now
My BF and I work overnights so that our parents can watch the baby. We can't afford day care at all😐
I worked in childcare all my life. I am actually going back (I was a nanny) just so we can afford childcare. Also we have my husbands mom taking her for 2 days. So out of $210 we are paying $110 since I am going to be working there.
That's why I'm going to work from home. Daycare anywhere is crazy expensive.
@cayandjaymomof2, it sucks but shit I'm glad I'm not the only one in MD paying that much
I was about to say the same @6thahardway @rainbow0601 these prices are so cheap compared to what I paid 6 years ago for my son lol. But everything here is so expensive for no reason lol smh
wow I'm seeing all these prices are hella cheaper than what I pay. I pay 439 weekly ( 5days) drop off 6:30 -4:30 😞😭
Our sons preschool is 250 a month though and that's 2 1/2 hours 3 days a week.
We had to work opposite shifts. It killed us but we did it.
we are in the same situation, we can not afford daycare so we have chosen to work opposite shifts. no we won't see each other alot but we won't be in a financial hole.
I hear you. Daycare for my 11 week old is $125 a week so $500 a month. Definitely stressful but we figure it out 😔
@6thahardway, @rainbow0601 MD is insane. We pay $840 a month for our daughter's pre k and we aRe still looking for care for our son, but infant care is so expensive!!!!!! Like a grand a month for real!
