So discouraged. After not being able to pump all day, I pumped one ounce. ONE ounce!😩 my supply's been screwed up ever since my gallbladder surgery when I couldn't eat or drink for 3 days. 😡😭

bianca_rose Just keep putting him on the breast as much as possible, baby sucking is way more effective

Читать все 2 комментарияBeen in the hospital since yesterday due to my gallbladder and pancreas. Haven't been able to keep anything down since Friday and was told I can't eat or drink until my pancreas levels go down. I broke down and ate/drink a little. They won't do surgery until MAYBE Tuesday (I guess cause it's a holiday weekend but hey I don't want to be here either) They have me on IV fluids and morphine. So frustrated because it's messing with my breast milk production. In 5 hours I was only able to produce 3oz.

baby_2016 Since your getting morphine , you won't be able to breastfeed! until your done taking meds. bc

Читать все 2 комментарияI just had my baby on the 10th and the brilliant nurse at the hospital told me to take Mira lax when I got home to help move my first bowl movement. Needless to say it transferred to my breastfed newborn and now neither one of us is happy. How long will it take to get out of both our systems? It's been 3 days and it doesn't look like there's a light at the end of this tunnel.

missing98user I honestly think it will be ok. I have been on miralax several times while breastfeeding. Breastfed

maya.rose ^^ she's right, miralax is not absorbed into the bloodstream so it's probably not in your breastmilk.

It's been 5 days since my c-section and I'm still trying to process it all. The hospital and staff were amazing. Baby was breeched for at least 2 months so she loves to throw up her legs and go into her "comfort" position but she's healthy and kickin it up. Kudos to all moms and moms to be. We're amazing.
