My son is almost 3 months and he aspirates while he feeds so his ped has me thickening his formula with rice cereal but I just learned from another ped that there's safer formula thickeners. Our ped NEVER mentioned that as an alternative. Has anyone elses ped suggested rice cereal?
I see so many mommies giving their babies rice cereal to sleep even though it's not recommended? Why?

***NEED FORMULA ADVICE*** I brought Waylon to the doctors. He has been spitting up a lot. Because of this, he is loosing weight. His doctor suggest I try a formula mixed with breastmilk. Something specifically made for spiting up. And he said maybe something with rice or cereal in it. I need advice. What brands did you use. What worked best. Last time I used formula, it was for my now 5 year old. I just used enfamil. Nothing special bc he didn't spit up or have allergies or anything. I exclusively breastfed Liam.
