Today ended in a trip to the ER... Being only 31 weeks I had some major pressure in the lower regions and it brought up a lot of question. Turns out his head is low enough to where it needs to be... just a little too soon. Cervix is still "tight and closed" but he's right at the other side... I Have a checkup appointment and follow up on Monday to make sure nothing changes within the week! Has this ever happened to any other mommas?

I'm about 24 weeks and have been feeling pressure today because he prefers to be head down for some reason. I've been trying to get him to move upward. I'm going into my ob tomorrow for an appt so I'm gonna ask. It scares me that he stays so low and stays head down. I always feel his hands near my pubic bone and tell my husband he feels like he's trying to dig his way out. I guess some babies prefer that position idk... These babies better stay in is till they are ready to come out.
@babyosmomma, then I really don't think they are concerned about them coming early

I was dilated and effaced as well. did they give you the steroid shots for their lungs
Im 33 weeks and my baby has been head down with pressure since about week 28. my doc says its normal im just a little concerned that she will come early and im 2cm dilated.
I'm 35 weeks now and still holding on lol. I just took it way easy. my doctor really didn't seem concerned, he just said watch for early labor and take it easy.
@tlw1596, what did your doctor say about that? Is everything still going fine??
