I'm honestly feeling so bummed. Since I've had my baby (3 mos ago) my friends have seemed to not care as much. I'm a bridesmaid in one of my friends wedding, and they didn't tell me or invite me to get her wedding dress. I asked my other friend when we were all gonna go to get it picked out and she was like "she already got it a while ago its perfect." I asked why they didn't ask me to go and she said "well we figured you wouldn't have time." Like wtf? I need some time to myself here and there too you can't just assume. And apparently they're all going to Cedar Point together tomorrow. Idk I'm just feeling a little sad I guess. At least my baby gives me the best heartwarming smiles and he loves when he's around me.

I understand that. I had this one good friend that just completely abandoned me after I got pregnant. Told me she was excited for my baby shower then bailed the day of. I don't know what it is about people that just run away when a friend has a baby. But it sure sucks. I'm so sorry they're being that way to you. Being a new mom now is honestly when I could use friends the most!
@sonya15, yeah they definitely need some time to grow! I love them dearly but I'm still hurt. @emkasting I spoke to my one friend about it and she goes "yeah I could see how that would upset you." but she's always been that way, never one to really be good at comforting it's just who she is and I still love them but it was really crappy. I know it wasn't their intentions to hurt me but I mean still, just because I'm a new mom doesn't mean that I can't be fun too.
That's really crappy of them honestly. I would feel the exact same way for sure. Have you spoken to them about how they're making you feel?
I understand where you're coming from. You should definitely voice how you feel! Don't be upset sometimes people aren't ready to grow with you. 💜
@emkasting, that's exactly how I feel, I could really use my friends right now. I'm sorry that you had to go through that as well :( it really sucks that people change like that. I don't adjust to it very well since her and I have been best friends since the 3rd grade
