Hey ladies just after some advice. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and I went to my midwife yesterday and she checked me and I was 3cm dilated and she gave me a sweep, I'm booked in for tomorrow morning for an induction. I lost my plug last night and some this morning I was just wondering how long it took you to go into labour after a sweep or having a show? When I go in tomorrow I might not need the pessary I might just get started on the pitocin drip

I had a sweep last Monday lost my plug Tuesday wasters went Thursday and was induced Friday I think little lady was comfortable @ashleymoffat9 xx
Trust me it waa tiring of how long it took. It depends on how well your body takes to it. My son weighed 6ib 8ozs and now the little chunk is 9ib and 9ozs at 6 weeks xx
That's the reason why I am being induced due to reduced movement, hopefully it's not long for me, what did your baby weigh? @mummytotheo5616 xx
I had to be induced at 38 weeks and 6 days as I kept going in with reduced movements. I had the propess and then had to have 2 pesscinarys as it wasnt working. I got started off on the thursday and lost my back waters on the friday!! but was having contractions before that. On saturday afternoon at 1pm my waters went all together on the corridor in the hospital and then it started quite quick!! Had my show after my waters went and then the contractiona were coming stronger. It still took me all night on the sat and i had to have the drip as i wasnt getting past 4cm. Then all sunday morning but finally happened on sunday afternoon. Everyone is different though hun it can happen quick or it could take a few hours.like me. So you just have to let nature take its corse hun. As you are that many cms dilated you glcould go quick!! Good luck hope i helped cxx

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
