Hell yes! I'm telling you that's the best way to do it! It's cheap and YOU can pick out good quality stuff from a thrift store! I'm telling you people give away so many new things it's not even funny! You can walk out with lots of things under 100 bucks and at Walmart you get 1 thing like a baby bouncer or whatever and it's easy 70-150$ when later they will outgrow it.... And then it's given away or sold for less or trashed....

And honestly Babys outgrow their clothes so fast, baby thrift stores have thousands of second hand clothes that are brand spanking new because the child didn't have a chance to wear em, you should look into that too! I've shopped a little for him because I wanted the satisfaction of spoiling him myself and I found lots of outfits for a buck 50 or 5 bucks 3 bucks.... With tags still on them! Same goes with baby equipment play mats, etc... Too expensive at the actual store..

Girl, you won't regret it! I'd invite a shit ton of people, because half of them won't come and they say they will! But then last minute shit comes up.. I've literally only had to buy newborn diapers... Everything I have for the baby was given to me at the baby shower! And make baby registries so people know what you want or need!
