how long did you wait to have sex after giving birth ?!

4 weeks is all my hubby could wait. lol

i waited about 3 months..but i had a c section and bled for a long time

I know your suppose to wait 6 weeks but my doctor wants me to come in 4 weeks PP . So I'm sure she is gunna say it's okay when I go . . @ashley07 . @marinarose @bugmama did you go to the dr before you did or you just did it ?

LOL and yes I had finished bleeding but hubby wouldn't have cared either way and it did hurt a lot but it's the only way your body gets used to it again.

And no I did not go to the Dr first. My midwife scheduled me 6 weeks out but she said it was fine that we hadn't waited as long as I wasn't still bleeding. Got my Mirena at 6 weeks though then didn't bleed again until I had it removed last august.

I just did it. I just had my boyfriend check to make sure my stitches and everything were healed up. It was uncomfortable at first but as we got into it it was great. Still uncomfortable at times since my cervix is still low

Don't be your body has to adjust again just take it easy.

My husband and I waited three weeks and I'll be 6 weeks postpartum on the 16th.

@marinarose, yeah my stitches are already gone I'm 2 weeks PP .

waited til 9 weeks pp. it hurt like hell and it was super tight so we couldn't even get it all the way in. tried again a week later and same thing. it hurts too bad and he can't enjoy it bc he knows I'm in pain. wish I could enjoy sex again

@levismommy2014 Have u went to the Drs yet ?

Nope my appointment is Monday the 16th. I've been using protection and this is my third baby. Dr told me at the hospital to take it easy if I had sex before 6 weeks and not be to rough and I'll be okay.

We were condoms and use lube, just no rough sex and watch our positions so I'm comfortable and eased into it. Only way to get back to having sex is to do it.
