if i tell wic in pumping and formula will they give me a pump or formula? not sure if i should tell them both or if im just formula feeding
is it true that WIC doesn't give a breast pump or formula for the first 30 days?
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Question for formula moms How much do you spend a month on formula and what brand? I think the thought of spending the money is the biggest deterrent for me to switch. I do think breast milk is best but I also think formula is great since I was a formula baby. I'm just getting exhausted and frustrated with pumping all the time until we can get his tongue tie clipped and hoping that will fix his latching and sucking issues. They're taking forever to get me the referral. Gotta love Tricare.
so, I think if my milk comes in prior to the baby, I'm going to pump as much as possible and freeze it. I'll feed whatever I pumped to the baby, then after that I'll switch to formula.
to be honest. ..im totally over the hassle of breastfeeding. pumping and formula...feel like pumping is time consuming! i could be doing other things...i hate being so indecisive. ..and i was told formula has more calories than breastmilk???

the wic in my county is a bunch of Bob boob Nazi's! if you don't bf they treat you like shit! they basically refused to give me the formula package and gave me a pump.

well i told them i wasnt going to breast feed but i decided to go ahead but he wont lach on so i pump for him and they were okay with me not breast feeding but they dont know about me pumping and they have been nice and understanding so far @jaeparm but now hes here and they might get more serious so im not sure

@meagan_garrett, girl you can do both bottle feed and breastfeeding just ask them. And call your insurance and ask for the list of companies that does it. But get one from babiesrus because I brought 3 pumps that I can't return and also got one from my insurance and can't return that one either but if you do go to babiesrus and make sure you get the insurance in it
