So I was approved by my doctor Monday to workout again. I never asked her what I could and couldn't do as far as intensity. Pre-pregnancy and the first trimester I ran, burpees, planks, lifted weights, etc. I never asked nor did she say I couldn't do that sort of stuff. I know she said I could start with crunches and work my way up to leg lifts and roll ups. I haven't done any of those but I have been doing burpees, running, and planks again. No problem. Yesterday I did a lot at the gym doing my old vigorous exercise routine and my upper abdomen has been cramping. I can feel it 3 finger widths up from my belly button. I'm so worried about damaging my stomach muscles. It's not painful, just annoying. Im not experiencing any other problems. Could it just been too much? I've done burpees and planks this week and never noticed these cramps and it's weird that it's upper and not lower. Is it okay to keep doing those exercises?

@shananaginsx, @kimberkatherine yeah i think I got it figured out. I've been working out intensely and my body isn't use to it like before so it probably is what @kimberkatherine just muscles I haven't worked out in awhile. It goes away after a day so that's probably what happened. Thanks!

I just go with what I feel in my gut. If it feels okay, go for it. If it truly feels wrong, ease up. It could just be fast twitch muscles that haven't been worked in a long time or ever..sometimes you work stringy muscles that you haven't before and it feels so strange.

Just test your limits. Start slow and gradually increase it depending how you feel! That's what I did. If it's too much then stop and try more another day.
