my doctor recently asked me if I want to be induced. I am 39 weeks and 5 days, I told her no because naturally is a lot better. and I've heard it's a lot more intense being induced. so I am waiting it out, If I don't have her by 40 week 2 days then they want to induce me.

I set up my induction today, my doctor told me he cannot induce me unless there is a medical reason BEFORE 39 weeks, after/at 39 weeks they can induce if agreed to by both you and doctor! It's your decision no one else's, my doctor wouldn't discuss it further with me today until he done the internal exam, which ended in him telling me given how far dilated I am and how soft my cervix is an induction would go great with me, if I wasn't moving along good, he wouldn't have offered to do it, he wanted to make sure, my body was preparing its self before we do that! :) talking to your doctor about what's best for YOUR body is what it'll come down too! :)

With that being said, I being induced at 39+1 IF I don't go into labor by then. :)
