Who has or has not gotten the tdap shot and why. I just got one and was wondering why people don't. Hopefully I made the right decision
Hey I’m 26 with two children #myfirstpost Okay I’ll be real and explained why I joined, I didn’t know I could be looked up or anyone would actually see this post, I was informed someone I know has been stealing pics and I came to look and see what’s going on if any of mine were on there or anyone else I knew. Breastfeeding. I am a HUGE breastfeeding advocate. No, I will NOT shame you if you decide to formula feed, and will not tolerate anyone else doing so on my post. Everyone has their own reasons on why they feed their child the way they see fit.
Sooooo Athena has to have the surgery 😥😥😥😥 I've been bawling I'm a mess ! I can't believe this is happening to my poor child ! Why ? What did I do that caused this ? I'm seriously on my knees bawling ! As much as I tried to prepare myself, I wasn't ready to hear those words . In 3 months she will have her cranial surgery & I pray to God she has a easy & speedy recovery ! Please pray for my baby ladies ! She really needs them !
Defiantly?? I often read "defiantly" instead of "definitely" on here? Why is that? It's not even pronounced "defiantly"! English is my second language, but this particular mistake has been bothering me for a while!!
Since everyone is telling me to.. Here it is.. Well on mom life you stated your procedure was for a hole in your stomach.. But on instagram you "kicked cancers ass" and basically had throat cancer?.. I don't like liars!! Why lie?! I lost the people i loved most to cancer! That's not something to fucking joke about! I lost all respect for you! And if you really do have cancer why lie on mom life saying it was for a hole in your stomach?it just makes no sense to me!

I got mine yesterday. Also asking the whole family to get one as well.. Reason? Because whooping cough is so dangerous to babies, that I couldn't forgive myself if my little girl got it from one of us, and we could've atleast tried to prevent it...

Helps your child not get whooping cough for the first two months of their life till they are able to get it their own shot at 2 months old.

I didn't do it 8 years ago bc I don't think it was as needed as it is now. But I bet I will have to within the next few weeks

@klove2016, that was my theory also. Then I started thinking why are people not getting it. I just got mine 10 minutes ago. Did you have any side affects ?

My arm got sore later on, and still is a little sore today. But not bad @newmommy0906

And some people don't get it, just like they don't vax their kids.. They swear it does more harm than good, or it will cause autism; bla bla bla.

I was never told about it. And I'm pregnant with my 2nd. I read about it in some papers from a clinic I went to when I was pregnant with my first and they probably mentioned it, but I don't remember. My dr never mentioned it. My stepmom says I should definitely get it if offered to me.

I didn't get a booster with my first but I did this time. I think they had started doing more research about it being given during pregnancy and the benefits to baby. Only thing I'd tell you is to move your arm around a lot to help with the soreness.

I've never heard of it and it was never mentioned to me at my doctors office either so I didn't get it. What exactly is that shot for?

I'm not getting it, but I will vaccinate my child.. no flu shot either

@vivalakats, it's the combination vaccine against diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), and tetanus.
