Have been trying to introduce whole milk to Leo these past two days. Anyone have any advice he doesn't seem to like it very much. He is turning 1 on the 8th of this month.

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
i hope i have my baby this week...or in a couple of years...if he wants to come out...it's whatever he wants 😓
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Is he on breastmilk or weaning from formula? You may have an easier time if it's formula because after one it's not really needed and whole milk can help give him what he still needs from milk...it just takes some getting used to! If breastfed, babies can be weaned at one but the benefits don't run out at 1 year, in fact they increase because the milk will change and become more fatty and full of antibodies as a last boost in preparation for natural weaning, so if you want to stick with that you don't need whole milk as breastmilk is better than cow's milk. Either way, whatever you choose, to get him more used to the whole milk I think persistence will be the key, I don't have any great tips as I haven't reached that point yet with my daughter, but my nephew isn't a huge fan of cow milk and he is almost 3, he's in the low percentiles but has been since he was real little so I don't think his dislike for milk is the problem...as long as baby is hydrated with water or milk and is eating well and growing well, I think you can take the pressure off yourself!!! You can also try giving soy milk or some other kind of milk like almond milk, he may like the taste more and it's healthier anyways cuz cow's milk can be really hard on our digestive systems. Hope this helps a bit!

I give him formula I've tried just giving him taste here and there but he just spits it back out. definitely didn't think I'd be so hard. I'll have to keep trying if not I'll try different kinds of milk.he's always been on the big size for his age.

Mix it half and half and start decreasing the formula

If you feed him 8 oz bottles, make a 4 oz formula bottle and add milk to make 8 oz, then take the formula down an oz at a time replacing with milk. 4 formula/4 milk, 3 formula/5 milk, 2 formula/6 milk, At that point you can probably go straight to milk. I worked at a day care and that's how you weaned babies
