Feel like my milk supply is going down ever since I went back to work. ππ I was afraid of this. And yes I do pump at work and strictly breast before I go to work even if it's feeding every hour like usual. She seems to never get full and still have to give her formula π I hear that some breastmilk is Better then none but wish I was pumping out more. They said I would pump out what she needs but she needs way more then just 2 ounces and that's all I pump out total. I take lactation cookies drink lots of fluids eat pretty good and even exercise.
the flanges come in sizes. google how to measure your nipple size there is a page you can print out to check with. sorry I'm at work with really slow wifi. & using the right size for you can actually make a difference. i started pumping between 3 to 4 oz since i switched mine.
@verobaby, I do. How do I know if I need new flanges? I just replaced the membrane & valves as well
stay super hydrated at work & check the size of the flanges on your pump. unfortunately the average pump amount is 2 to 4 oz per session. most woman don't respond well to pumps.
@gabbybritt, I do. At night in the morning and mid day. :/
massage your breasts toward the end of your pumping session or squeeze them a little I always get .5-1.5 extra oz that way. also pump for 2-5mins after the flow stops and in about a week you could see an increase in how much you get. good luck!
