they'll do blood tests to check your hormones and get you a pap if you haven't had it recently and also a ultrasound. I had to do the internal and external ultrasound and they just check to see if you have all your lady parts and also if your ovaries look normal with all the (can't remember the actual name of them but the circles that show up that are the eggs that get released from ovaries) are looking normal. the ultrasound tech I had said if they look like a string of pearls it's concerning but doesn't mean pcos right off the bat. she uses the pictures and blood results and then they can find out.
I don't remember anything anymore, I was diagnosed when I was 13, I'm now 22. Was told I'd probably never carry my own children, now here I am 37 weeks pregnant tomorrow with my miracle. Finding out if you have PCOS or not is a good step in figuring out what you need to do to help your body!
