Take the baby off and say no (stern but not loud) Put the boob away. Repeat as many times as it takes. My son bit me a few times and then it stopped by now he is getting more teeth and has started doing it again. It take quite a few times but baby will learn. @adrianmom.ily @mom.with.faith

it takes some time. i know it hurts trust me. try switching positions. when I switched to the football position i stopped feeling his teeth when i fed him. @adrianmom.ily

my son has 6 teeth. when he first started teething he bit me a few times. if you yell you could scare him out of breastfeeding or he could think it's funny & a game. when my son bit me i stopped feeding him & sternly told him no. I'd let him cry for a little so he saw he wouldn't get fed if he bites me. he did it maybe a few times after that & i did the same. that was when he was 5 months old. he hasn't bit me since.

@stefaniamarie, I did the same exact thing when my son bit me. He bit down so hard I cried. I've also tried pushing into his face doesn't work for me. I'm running out of patience and options

@adrianmom.ily, I am going through the same thing! My son bit me a couple times, the lactation nurse told me to push his face in my breast he'd let go, it worked... My daughter NOPE! This morning she bit me so hard! I pulled he off in shock and yelled NO! She cried her eyes out and now won't nurse! every time I try to feed her she backs away and cries in terror! 😭😭

how do you stop it?

There are ways to stop it. It takes patience and it's worth it.
