I went to my drs appointment today my dr checked my cervix and told me I was 2cm dilated and 80% thinned out my cervix check didn't hurt as usual but then she said she was going to help get things moving along then I felt a lot of cramping and been having back cramps every since could she have stripped my membrane without telling me my due date isn't until June 16th! I got to finish one more week of school and make it to the end of the week for work ugghhh I think she messed up my plans!

I got my membranes swept at 37 weeks (a week ago) and still haven't had my baby yet, but I am in early labor now as of this past Saturday. if your baby is ready to come, then he/she will. some women get their membranes swept and have their babies while others don't so it just depends on when your baby is ready

Can I have everyone’s opinions on me being 5cm dilated 50% effaced my cervix is high but the baby’s head is there and I wasn’t sent to labor and delivery. My mom is taking me cause she thinks it wasn’t right that my dr didn’t send me over to the hospital so she wants me looked at again. I THINK my dr stripped my membrane but I’m not sure(I say I’m not sure cause she says things and then I’m not sure what she meant she did or didn’t do and I don’t ask but she said “let’s see if we can change that for you” when I told her I’m just tired and in pain all the time)
