Can I have everyone’s opinions on me being 5cm dilated 50% effaced my cervix is high but the baby’s head is there and I wasn’t sent to labor and delivery. My mom is taking me cause she thinks it wasn’t right that my dr didn’t send me over to the hospital so she wants me looked at again. I THINK my dr stripped my membrane but I’m not sure(I say I’m not sure cause she says things and then I’m not sure what she meant she did or didn’t do and I don’t ask but she said “let’s see if we can change that for you” when I told her I’m just tired and in pain all the time)

If your water hasn’t broken and you’re not having contractions then that’s probably why they didn’t send you to the hospital. If it were me I’d rather labor at home.

Hmm that’s weird. It would have made sense if she said go home, but to get prepped for going to L&D if your cramps pick up or your water breaks. I could see her wanting you to relax at home as long as possible, but if she didn’t even mention anything then IDK. Maybe she gave instructions for the nurses to pass on to you? That’s happened to me before 😂, but I always got a heads up.

Good luck! I hope they admit you and baby comes soon.

My water didn’t break on its own with my son. I kind of have a feeling it won’t this time either. She came in and broke it when I was 5cm with my son and I was stuck there for 2 hours lol

@bubbys.mommy, well hopefully they let you progress a bit more before breaking it! Every delivery is different so I hope you have a different experience.

Around here all hospitals admit you at 4-5cm. I would definitely listen to your mom.

It's a good idea to get checked. They may admit you and have you walking laps. Good luck! It does kind of sound like she did a sweep, but I feel like that's something she should've asked you if you wanted.

I definitely wanted it but yeah I feel like she would have asked or something. Idk..I’m kind of at a loss cause I feel like I don’t need to go but now complete strangers are telling me it’s a good idea...

Some hospitals keep u others won't which I think is crazy!!! That's half way done!

My mom was saying they won’t give me an epidural once I hit 7cm too and she doesn’t want me to miss getting one just because of this...my dr said also “I’m not saying anything will happen now but it could”

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Ok ladies tell me if I’m wrong: I bled heavily Monday night and ended up in the er, er dr says to avoid sexual activity. Saw my regular dr Wednesday but she just delivered a baby so she was in a rush so I didn’t get the chance to ask if sex can be resume. Well the last two nights he’s been pushing to have sex and I said no he says he’ll be gentle but I was like no that night was the scariest night of my life. So apparently I’m making him suffering all because I care about the baby and now he’s thinking I’m leaving him I’m like no I’m not wanting out I’m wanting to be safe I’m like you can wait couple more days until I see my dr again. Is it just me or is he being selfish?
