34 weeks and iam very anemic but I haven't took not one pill the doc gave me now I'm starting to get dizzy and wanting to faint sometimes going to start now I didn't think it was that important

if you ever have questions about meds your doctor gives you, ask them :) they'll explain why it's important. most doctors don't prescribe stuff just for fun, they are about you and baby. :) hoping for a smooth deliver for you mama

yes just take them until you deliver.. its so scary to go through that I wouldn't want any mom to have to deal with that stress

take the pills! I bled too much during my delivery that my levels dropped I got blood clots in my legs.
it's when you lose so much blood then have to go get donor blood to put in you through IV.

it's very important. you lose blood during delivery. I went anemic because I tore. If you lose a lot you could need one or more blood transfusions.
what do you mean bleed out is it thay bad and did u have to get a blood transfusion
I was the same. Let's hope you don't bleed out much during L&D or you'll need a blood transfusion.
Giving birth in general you lose blood if you're already anemic than loosing blood is already too much. You'll need blood transfusions to make up for the blood you lost. I was anemic and didn't take pills so I bleed a lot during the delivery maybe because I had cuts too. My levels were at 6.7 and normally we need to be above 11-12. Take the pills! Or just iron ! They help a lot and prevent you from getting other procedures done or having to stay longer at the hospital.
