So now that I have my test strips when do I start testing! I am on day 2 of af today and it lasts about 3-4 days normally. I have about a 26-27 day cycle. Any help would be very appreciated thank you!!😀

If you aren't temping , you count the day after your first positive as ovulation day, then the day after that would be 1dpo.

@tristan-makes-5 you're welcome and know this, sex in the days leading up to ovulation, are more important than sex on the day of ovulation, or after. You have a greater chance in the days leading up to as it's better to have the sperm waiting for the egg to drop already, rather than on the way because sperm takes time to.travel. So make sure you get today in !!

You may have several days of positives, but it's the first one that u go off of and that's the one that truly matters the most!! But if you're like me , you'll probably want to continue testing until your lines fade back to negative, mine always stayed positive for 2 to 3 days before going negative. Technically, it isn't necessary to do that it just made me feel better lol u can actually stop testing after that first positive. Anyways, hope this helped, good luck.

When u notice your lines start getting darker, then start testing multiple times a day just so you don't miss your surge, 4 hours in between test time is good. I always did at 2 and at 6. And if I needed to try a third time, at 10. When the lines are equal in color, or if the test line is darker than the control line, the test is considered positive !! Once u get your positive, ovulation will occur 12 to 48 hours later.
Test once a day, between 2 and 8 pm, as that's when surges are usually caught because even though lh is always in your system , it isn't emitted through urine stream until later in the day, so never use first morning urine unless you're using clearblue, as it detects a dual hormone that is found in fmu.
Start testing on cd8. It's unlikely that you'll ovulate that early , but it's just so you get an idea of when it happens for you, and for u to get used to your cycle. Once you track for a few months, u can cut the early testing as you'll know your cycle better.

I gotta question could I be pregnant and have 2 1/2 day period because I think i got pregnant on Nov 26 and had implantation bleeding on Dec 11 because I'm usually on my period for at least 4 days but mostly 5 or 6 which my full period was Nov 11 for 5 days ?? but in dec only 2 1/2 days it's kinda confusing really im excited about my Dr visit feb19 to know for sure :)
