How can I get my daughter to drink regular water? She loves water but if it's flavored. What's the best way to switch?
I feel like she is getting to much RED 40 and I want to see if I can limit it as much as possible and see if her crazy behaviors stop. Like not paying attention, banging her head, anger episodes, sleeping difficulty.
Any info you have would be great thanks :)
Add fresh fruits to her water, like frozen raspberries or strawberries @coryellemg3
I wouldn't give her sugar free because any diet drinks are bad for babies and kids, but 100% apple juice like the Juicy Juice brand doesn't add sugar to their juice. There's just the naturally occurring sugar from the apples.
@Sarahemccormick, Thanks. I didn't realize it was even an issue till my good friend mentioned it. I finally got her off of drinking milk 24/7. And now she only wants flavored water. I thought as long as r didn't have sugar it was safe. But I'll try that! Is there any sugar free 100% Apple juices?
Also, Red 40 can cause ADHD and Autism as well, according to studies, so be careful
Sometimes just adding ice to their water in a sippy cup can be enough, they like to be able to shake it and make a sound :) Water is mainly the only drink my daughter gets.
