I feel like that's a lot for an inhome daycare. Is she watching other kids? Is she licensed?

Though I really don't know if thats overpricing, it seems overpriced to me.

I think that's too much. My friend will pay a daycare $125. Maybe look in your area and see how much daycare cost a week then determine it that way. I would feel like her prices should be cheaper than a daycare

For one 3 month old baby, I feel that it's too much. Especially if she isn't licensed. Ask questions. Does she know CPR? Baby heimlich? Methods of soothing? Has she watched a baby before? Corect amount of formula/breastmilk? If breastmilk, pacefeeding? Depending on how high the need is for the baby will affect the price,

That's a really high price for someone you don't know for sure is licensed. Our daycare for infants is $260 every other week.

In Kansas all nannies wanted $600 a week 😳😳. My son is starting at a daycare center that is $275 a week. Average price for in home centers here was about $200/week and centers were $259-360/week. It's crazy expensive. Infant care is so hard to find. I visited the center I am using half a dozen times before I decided. Had to make sure it was a good environment for my little. In home centers didn't work for me because their hours were too short and I work full time.

@mommagotbump16, I'm a FTM and do t know much about childcare but I was thinking 500-700 a month is reasonable.

Your guess was pretty accurate! I'd just look into local places to compare price and quality.

I think it's too much my sister in law says there is a place in Baltimore that the lady watches kids for a cheap price but I don't remember the place

go shop around at a couple daycare that are licensed in MD and see what they charge. you should be able to do a tour and compare it to what she is charging you. when i worked in Northern VA infant room prices were 400+ a week. however some infant rooms have a waiting list...but i would also want to make sure your neighbor has CPR first aid certification and you need to make sure you can trust them with your child.
