The army is making my husband split up his paternity leave, and do a inspection that they should have had done 3 or 4 fucking months ago, but no. They are fucking lazy, and have to throw it on the one soldier in the unit having a son between now and the 6th of june. Im getting a induction date tomorrow. He will only be able to be there when hes born, and a few days after, and they expect him back. What about me? The wife? The one whos already depressed, upset, and stressed out. The girl whos only fucking 21 and never had a baby, and hardly knows the first thing about doing it alone.. I need my husband with me. Dont they care?..
That's what's about to happen with me kinda. Hubby is leaving for basic training and AIT a week after my third csection if it wasn't for family helping with my oldest two so I can recover I'd be doing it all alone. It sucks but it's what he wants and signed up for so I'm just gonna have to deal with it.
@preggersblues, yes they can. Sent my husband to training when my son was 5 days old.
He needs to talk to command they cant do that all he needs is the leave from the doctor not to mention he can also speak to the chaplin and say its spirtualy hindering. Just retired last year.
He can talk to his chaplain if they don't honor his leave or use his open door policy, my husband and I are both in he's an officer and I'm an NCO there are ways.
the military says of they wanted their soldiers to have a family they would have assigned him one 😒 I'm sorry for you but if you need help I know I'm not there but I'm having my 4th and I can help all I can. I can give you my cell of you ever need anything. if it makes you feel any better I'm home mon-Fri all alone doing it myself...
I'm pregnant and new to the army wife life. It scares me being so clueless
