Preggies,
We would love your opinions! We're working on an article for TTC moms. What's the best advice you would give a mom trying to get pregnant. Please leave a reply here and we'll add some of them to our blog.
Thanks,

Just go with the flow I thought for the longest I wasn't able to have kids but after my daughter I became very fertile and not even a year apart I'm getting ready to have another just let it happen don't stress and let it flow I honestly stop for a while then Boom I just wound up pregnant but I'm loving it
with me and my fiance all my pregnancies were unplanned because we we're just having fun. both our kids are blessings.
honestly I tried for over a year and did ovilation test and period tracker it really helped me and we also prayed
I agree with the not trying. I tried for 5 months and ended up too stressed then one month after just going with the flow I got pregnant!
What @proudm0mmaof2 said! Dont try too hard! Make love dont just do it to try it get pregnant do it out of love for the person you are with. That way you do not ruin the bond. Have fun, make love, just enjoy the ride you will be blessed!
It will happen when you both relax about it. Don't let sex be a chore, have fun with it and get into it. The more you stress and obsess over it, the harder it will be to get pregnant. Don't put so much pressure on it. You don't know how many times I heard, "We gave up trying and just said if it happens, it happens. That's when we got pregnant." Myself included!! Also my husband got on Fertilaid (which increases the sperm count) and we got pregnant that month. Before we decided to stop actively trying to get pregnant, having sex turned into a chore and I just wanted it over with as soon as possible. I finally learned to relax, exercise more and enjoy that time with my husband and it finally happened. Focus on other things other than just getting pregnant, enjoy life, and it will happen!!
track ovulation....but in the end stop stressing it will happen. we got pregnant 2 weeks before going to see a fertility specialist. I had completely given up
Get the Kindara app. It tracks your periods, and ovulation. I knew I was pregnant before a test(well suspected) because you can track your temp and it never went down like it should after ovulation. It goes up at ovulation, then down. You also keep track of vaginal discharge so you know when it's the best time to have sex. I say track for a few months like I did, then when you're ready to try, do it on the days that are the best times! You will know. It's all about learning about your own body and not stressing.
Don't stress, have fun. If you worry to much it won't happen. Just let it happen. Take prenatals nog
have sex in the morning, drink a glass of red wine a day and have lots of sex. I have pcos, endometriosis, hypothyroidism and 1 ovary. it can happen! I took one round of clomid and did all the things I mentioned and was pregnant the first month after 8 years of ttc.
to thoes ttc with pcos never give up hope. You have pcos, pcos does not have you.
When I was trying to conceive it wouldn't happen. When I wasn't trying to conceive it happened!💙
don't make a chore out of it either. have fun enjoy your partner, cherish these moments. have fun with it. stressing about it doesn't help.
as much as you will get tired of hearing it, relax have fun and quit 'trying'. that's how it happened for us. we had a go with the flow cycle since I messed up my Clomid days and that's when i got pregnant.
Eat healthy, remove or minimize processed foods from your diet, drink lots of water, exercise, detox your body twice a year and have faith. Organize your life and finances to prepare for baby, you'll be thankful you did! @preggie_usa
Relax and enjoy the time. You will eventually have that baby but the more you stress the harder it will be to get that baby
Its not fun! Don't go into this thinking it's all sunshine.. I have been mislead lol. It's like hell
Everyone says that "when it's meant to happen it will" or "when you're not trying it will happen"...unfortunately sometimes the clichés just aren't true. Just trying to be honest. They become sound bites that women TTC tune out because they are tired of hearing it. Sometimes medical intervention may be the only option and THATS OK too. There is no shame on what method you use to bring a child into the world, but that they are safe and loved.
It's when your not trying to get pregnant is usually when it happens.........Like BAM your preggers
Everything happens when it is suppose to. Everything happens for a reason. It's your journey....remind yourself to enjoy it!
When you stop trying, it will happen. Never lose hope! Just because a doctor says it will never happen for you, doesn't mean it won't. Miracles happen every single day!
Never give up hope because God is in control, don't stress, don't worry, just pray.. Baby dust to all ttc
have fun, dont stress about it because it will happen, you cant let ttc taket he fun and romance out of sex. you just have to let it happen in time.
don't think "am I going to get pregnant this time?" it will happen when it happens, too much emphasis on it or stress about it will not help.... I hadn't been on birth control for about 5 months, every time my husband and I had sex I wondered if it would happen and it never did, it just so happened that the time it did I didn't even want to have sex, but did anyway, the next time my period was due it didn't come, I felt sick one day after eating lunch and it dawned on me my period was over a week late.... went up to our room/bathroom (we were living in his parents house while ours was being built) took a test and sure enough, I was pregnant
@preggie_usa, don't try so hard to where having sex is only to have a child, make it spontaneous and interesting ever time!!
Try not to let ttc take the intimacy or fun out of your relationship. It can get stressful, try to relax.
Consume foods that have folate in it it helps and of course have sex.
Sometimes you need to leave the place where you are behind, if not physically, then mentally. My husband I were were TTC for months, but after one too many negative tests and tears and the consequential arguments, we stopped talking about babies. We moved overseas and as a result our lives changed drastically. EVERYTHING - personal habits, diet, mindset. The new year came around but my period did not. I became pregnant when we weren't even 'trying'. So the moral of the story is, even if can't move to a different continent like I did, even subtle changes may add up to more than you would expect...
Nutrition, hydration, and exercise are so critical and most of all relax!
Be patient and don't stress! Have sex every other day or so and not every day. But stress is huge. It will happen 😊 good luck!
Don't try so hard, just have fun and relax :) it'll happen when you least expect it!
How many moms had the epidural ? And how many moms went natural and what was your experience in going natural and would you recommend anyone to do it ?

Preggies,
We're working on a blog post about what it means to be a mom, and we want your opinion. What would you add to this statement?
You know you're a mom when...
Add your reply in the comments here, and we'll post your responses on our blog just in time for Mother's Day!

Who would be interested in trading gifts with other moms? I did it once in this prego group I was in years ago. You would get a box and fill it with things you think another mom would enjoy and send it across miles away. 💜❤️💜 it helped moms make room for friendships far away. I would be willing 😁😍
why would you be fired?
So if being a mom was an actual (literal) job, what is something you've done recently that would have gotten you fired?
How fun would a Moms Summer Camp be? Like 3 days of just chilling with other moms. No kids. Lots of wine. 😂🙌🏼
I agree that the process should be fun, but there is a point where you need to seek help from a specialist. I get so tired of people telling me to "stop trying and it will happen" because, for me, it won't. It is near impossible for me to get pregnant without medical intervention. Don't worry about taking other people's advice. Do what is right for you and your partner and don't give up hope.
